History

fleurchild.com > About the Site > History

Fleurchild.com was Evanescence-Fan-Guild.co.nr. Evanescence-Fan-Guild.co.nr was based off this neopets guild I had (I think you can guess the name). It last around four years, until I stopped updating. It had over 100 devoted members. I guess I stopped updating because I got bored of neopets - it's useless items, pets... I think you know that rest. After I gave up on neopets, I still continued Evanescence-Fan-Guild.co.nr as an Evanescence resource and news site. As my interest in graphic designed blossomed I started providing graphics services. I had wonderful staff (Yuriyana and Throbb) working with me to find Ev news and making graphics.

I wanted more creative independence. I didn't want to revolve my site around only Evanescence. Wanting to still include my influence of Evanescence, I started a new site that was more focus on more artistic graphics. Another reason why I killed Evanescence Fan Guild (the website) was because I hated the name. It was so finite and uggh, I hated it.

I changed my site's name to fleurchild.com because "Fleurchild" was actually based off a poem I wrote that heavily depicts the importance of choice and independence.
