Glossy Button Effect
We see this effect used everywhere in web and graphic design nowadays. The "glossy button effect" can be seen used in Vista themes, professional websites, advertisments, and more endless applications. Did you know that it takes less than five minutes to create this modern and sleak effect?
Let's start off by opening a "new image" that is 300px by 100px with a transparent background. Using the "rounded rectangle tool", draw out the button's shape making sure that it transparent space is left around as a border.
At the top menu, go to "layer", hover at "layer style", and select "blending options". Select and edit the following properties:
Inner Glow
Bevel and Emboss
Gradient Overlay
Once you have completed the tasks above select "ok". After adding some decorative text, you should get this:
