Brushes with Abobe Photoshop

With .abr files
Save the .abr file to a specified folder of your choice. Press the 'Brush' tool on the vertical sidebar. On the toolbar, click the 'Load Brushes' option.

Find the specified folder containing the .abr file you downloaded and select and click 'Ok'.
With Imagepacks
Download, save, or copy and paste the images in the imagepacks. If you are downloading brushes from fleurchild.com, press the thumbnail on the brushes page. A new window will open, where the imagepack will be found. Copy and paste the image onto a 'New' window on Adobe Photoshop. For this tutorial, we will be downloading a brush from this brush set.
Select the 'lasso' icon in the vertical toolbar, which can be found on the left side of the screen. Make are the settings on the horizontal toolbar match the following image.
Use the 'lasso' tool to select the brush of preference by drawing a border around it. After the border has been drawn allow the border to stay flashing by not double-clicking.
Go to the top of the screen and under 'Edit', find the option, 'Define Brush..' and click it. A new window will open. You can either choose to give your brush a name and select 'Ok' or you can simply select 'Ok'. Now the brush can be found in the brush catalogue. To test this out, open a 'New' image, select the 'Brush' icon in the vertical toolbar. On the horizontal toolbar found right below the 'File' toolbar, open the brush selector. Lastly, scroll to the bottom of the page to find the newly saved brush.
